September 19, 2013 was the day I traveled over ten countries, all in one day. I
went to countries like: Spain, Germany, Australia, and Brazil. I enjoyed my
visit too all these countries. My favorite country of all had to be Mr. Osgood's
class room. When I walked in, I was greeted with an Australian accent. I felt
like I was truly in Australia. I love how cold he made the classroom while we
were in Antarctica. We were escorted around the country and were offered some
Australian treats. Towards the end of the trip we were surprised with a stampede
of cute Kangaroos and a vicious Alligator, but of course our tour guide
protected us from the Alligator. There were so many great countries like
Mexico, where we dressed in traditional clothing and fun masks. While in Italy, we enjoyed an amazing singing number from one of the
Italians on a boat. We also had portraits painted by an amazing Italian artist
(Donald Laundry). We also arrived in Greece, where we were greeted by Greek
goddess. Afterwards we traveled to Espana, where we gained a lot of information
and enjoyed their beverage. In Russia we learned about the St. Cathedral and
its ice cream cone colors. Mrs. Beird introduced us to South America, were we
were surrounded by monkeys and a beautiful water fall. Classes like Mrs. Samtoy's
, were we landed in Mauritius , which is a beautiful Island , with colorful
sand. She provided lots of information about Mauritius and also provided a
dance along with a lullaby. Then we toured Mrs. Divine's countries, we were
given information about China, and their traditional clothing. We were served a
Chinese dish called Egg rolls. We also went to Mrs. Moyer's class, were we in
Ireland. We watched an Irish dance on the screen, and had Apple Cider. Overall
each class room in Alessandro did an outstanding job. All classes provided good
information, humor, and items that grabbed everyone’s attention which made
International day so amazing.
